'Descended from George Stooks Chabot (b1821), brother of Mary Anne Julia Low, nee Chabot. George Stooks Chabot married Mary Van Den Lip and had two sons, George Alexander and Charles Jasper’. Fred Charles Chabot was the son of Charles Jasper, author of 'With the Makers of San Antonio: Genealogies of the Early Latin, Anglo-American, and German Families with Occasional Biographies' (1937). Mary ‘Maria’ Chabot was the daughter of Charles Jasper and his third wife Olive ‘Ollie’ Anderson Johnston (1886-1975). Maria was an artist'. [Source: Low/Philpott]
