Craig McNeil owns a property cleaning business in Fife. He has a long-time interest in comics and has collected them for several years.

Hailey Austin, Dundee Comics PhD student, saw on Twitter that he was wanting to find a home for the comics. He stored his comics in his parents' attic for many years and did not want to bin them.

Scope and content
Comics and annuals including the Eagle, Battle, Starblazer, Bunty, Beano etc. Annuals are split between publishers Fleetway and DC Thomson. Single Issue comics are split between comic title. The Battle Comics include the original run of Charley's War, a famous war comic by Pat Mills. Eagle Annual (1990) Victor Annual (1979) duplicates was removed and donated to SCCS.
