Biographical history

A. S. Cumming was General Manager of J & G Paton Jute/Flax Processing of Montrose. In the 1930s he studied at Dundee Technical College.

Archival history

Acc 2002/38 was originally donated to University of Abertay Dundee by W. Graham Cumming , and passed on to us by Ivor Jones, Head of Information Services. It was then erroneously added to MS 21. Acc 2009/366 was sent to Matthew Jarron, Museum Curator, University of Dundee by W. Graham Cumming. The records were found in the papers of his late father
