Biographical history

Dr. David Lennox was Lecturer in Forensic Medicine at the University of St Andrews, and Recruiting Medical Officer for Dundee. He compiled detailed statistical information on working class life in Dundee, but could not afford to publish the work. In 1928-1929 the University Court of St Andrews agreed to pay the cost of binding the typescript and placed it in the University Library for use by students.
