Comics collected by Grant Morrison, often sent to him by publishers. The comics in this collection are not catalogued individually, but the number of comics in each box is given, as is the date range and some of the comics within the box. For the most part it is DC comics with a few Vertigo, Image, and WildStorm comics thrown in as well. Most are not by Grant Morrison himself, but some do have his name on them as a contributor or he has written a blurb on the comic.
Recordings covering lives from the 1930's onwards, paperwork, biographies and some photographs of participants. Themes covered by the Project so far include the jute and textile industry (Dundee and India), the arts, academia, comics, journalism, publishing, disabilities, medicine, politics, armed services, retail, photography, sport and leisure, music and fashion. Themes also include childhood, family, education and work.
Comics and annuals including the Eagle, Battle, Starblazer, Bunty, Beano etc. Annuals are split between publishers Fleetway and DC Thomson. Single Issue comics are split between comic title. The Battle Comics include the original run of Charley's War, a famous war comic by Pat Mills. Eagle Annual (1990) Victor Annual (1979) duplicates was removed and donated to SCCS.
