A somewhat incoherent MS and typescript written after 1760. (MS in Brechin Library, written by someone like Mr Dick and at about the same period'. Refers to the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion and its aftermath but the style of writing makes it almost incomprehensible. It may be a translation or copy from a printed work. Headed: 'Continuation Eleventh Section XVIII', also includes 'sections XXIX and XXX'. Begins: "An officer was likewise found whom we too shall name Sir John Cope ..." Ends: "The human mind ... It is but criminal, as it neglects the wisdom with it or Prostitutes that which it ought to protect in virtuous practice. Catterinal".
