The last publication(s) and associated survey were abandoned as a cost-cutting measure in the early 1990s); and copies of Thunderstorm Survey (1970 & 1978) published by Thunderstorm Census Organisation.
Aerial photographs of Dundee, mainly west end and centre, and surrounding district These photographs were presumably taken by the Air Ministry during the Second World War. They mostly cover Dundee's city centre and also the area known as the West End. Some have lines marking out the then campus of University College, Dundee, suggesting they were owned by the College. Stamps indicate that they were cleared for release by the Air Ministry in 1945. Given this information it is possible that they were acquired by University College for use during the planning of the British Association Meeting held in Dundee in 1947 or for the Cooper Report into University College in 1949

Volume of photographs of scenes from in and around the city of Braunschweig (Brunswick), northern Germany. The name of the city and the date along with a dedication written to 'Herrn und Frau McKean' from 'Anna Uhlendorf.' The volume appears to have been a gift from the latter to the former. The album contains 35 photographs, 27 at the front and seven at the end - the majority of the album is empty. The photographs seem to have been taken by professional photographers. The album was gifted in 1889 but contains photographs dating up to 1894, suggesting that the photographs were added later. The photographs at the rear of the album are slightly different in subject matter from those at the front since they relate to events such as the visit of the Kaiser in 1889.
The volumes consist of four log books and one volume showing various lists kept by Walter Kinnes and David Esplin on board the SS Active during expeditions to Hudson Bay and Straits and also relates to Mica mining.
This collection of plans contains only those not part of a specific manuscript collection. It also includes photographs and photocopies of plans held outwith the University Library, or of plans in one of the numbered MS collections
