Six pieces of card with photographs of Dens Works, Dens Road, Claverhouse, East Port and other areas of Dundee. It is possible that these photographs were taken by a student or a member of staff at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art. Most of the photographs relate to areas which had previously had some connection with the textile industry, suggesting they may have been taken as part of a project relating to the textile industry in Dundee
Publications relating to Jardine Henderson Limited and the operating and running of the Jute Mills, donated by Mr John Noble, , a salesman with Jardine Henderson (formerly Skinner), involved with the buying and selling of Jute.

Themes also include childhood, family, education and work.
