Photograph albums mainly connected with industrial machinery and factories operated by Douglas Fraser & Sons Ltd. and, later, Giddings & Lewis-Fraser Ltd. This includes the works in Arbroath, as well as factories abroad such as in India and Argentina. Also many albums of photographs taken by Janet and John Fraser of family and local pictures including houses and landscapes.

The works at Arbroath and Friockheim are shown, as are sites in India, Brazil, Argentina, USA and England. The album covers many trips made by John G. Fraser, including visits to Argentina, India, Brazil, Japan, Sweden, Norway, Spain, Italy and France. The visit to Arbroath of John S. Mackay, Secretary of State for Scotland, in 1958 is also featured. Covers the years 1951-1963.
