Paterson entitled 'Our Tartans', typed notes on the Septs of the Clans, and a few press cuttings etc.

Includes some correspondence from William A. Tod on same subject; typescript notes and articles on various names, families etc., including: "Battle of Balgone, Parish of North Berwick, Haddingtonshire-vide Playfair","The Scoular Family", Surname 'Kellas' and others; typescript notes on name "Macbeth" signed John Macbeth, B.D., Newton Manse, Dalkeith.
