Minutes of 47th Annual General meeting

The presidents report discusses the membership numbers and the Society running the outings at no profit/ loss. Financial accounts approved and subscription to remain the same. Events for 2001 programme are discussed and the suggestion of an anniversary event in 2004 for the Society's 50th is to be considered.

Minutes of 42nd Annual General Meeting

The meeting discusses previous years events and that member numbers and participation increased. President discusses presidency and recommends the vice president take over. The new president and vice president are appointed. Subscription price remains unchanged and new auditor is appointed. Events for 1997 are discussed.

Minutes of 45th Annual General Meeting

President discusses membership numbers. There are account grievances for out of pocket expenses not being reimbursed. Annual subscriptions remains the same. Alterations to the membership constitution are discussed and outlined. Change or continuance of office bearers, members and accounts examiner discussed. Programme of events discusses, particularly bowling. Financial accounts for the year of 2000. Scots Society Constitution and Rules.

Minutes of 46th Annual General Meeting

Discussed in the presidents report reviews a successful year. Finances are deemed strong by the examiner. Annual subscription for the members to remain the same. The revised constitution discussed and deemed unnecessary to reprint and circulate. New president and new accounts examiner are appointed.

Email to members concerning presidency and closure

R.B. Robertson the president of the Scots Society emailed the members with concerns of the society's longevity if a new president, secretary and treasurer were not found. He also highlights concerns of inactive members. If new office bearers are not found he informs the members that the society will no longer be able to run.
