Document originally drawn up in November 1959, in order to give an explanation of the activities of the different Trade Associations which would be comprehensible to members of the Association of European Jute Industries. It was brought up to date in May 1962, as a background document in connection with the Trade's Restrictive Trade Practices case, but the form and emphasis remain those imprinted upon it in November 1959, for that different purpose.

Jute Trade price lists, notes and instructions, including those issued by Dundee Jute Trade, Joint Dundee Jute Goods Co-ordination Committees and the Board of Trade.
