Chatechetical instructions identified by Dean Christie as being in the hand of Robert Keith, Bishop of Edinburgh and Primus. Begins with extract from a sermon by Keith on the death of Bishop Rattray, preached 15 May 1743. The contents of the rest of the volume are "evidently a skeleton draft with intervening blank leaves of a course of instruction for Confirmation and first Communion with further warnings on the infidelity of the times, possibly incorporating draft notes left by Bishop Rattray"
