Commonwealth Entrants.

File contains correspondence and letters relating to the progress of Commonwealth students. The file contains letters from the Principal and the Students Department at Nigeria House in London. The file also contains letters and documents relating to a tour of Scotland being undertaken by L. Jimeta, the area officer from the Nigerian High Commission in 1962. Other letters are related to issues such as Nigerian students returning home and notification of the students who have applied to study at Dundee College of Education.

The file contains correspondence between Nigerian students, the Principal of Dundee College of Education and the Ministry of Education relating to the length and academic value of the Teachers Course being undertaken by some of the students. The file also contains a list of all the Bursar students undertaking the Commonwealth Teacher Training Scheme 1962-1963. The file also contains a list of 'exchange teachers from the British Commonwealth at present serving in Scottish schools.'
