Burgess ticket in favour of James Smith Junior, flesher in Dundee, admitting him as a free burgess of the Burgh of Dundee, dated 26 September 1816. Attached to the document is a receipt from the Collector of the Guildry of Dundee for two pounds ten shillings received from Mr James Smith Junior, flesher, as payment of his Boothupsett or freedom to the Guildry of Dundee, dated 16 June 1819. Also attached is a document creating James Smith Junior, flesher and burgess in Dundee, a free Guild Brother of the Burgh of Dundee, dated 8 September 1819.
