Questionnaires completed by police and civilian personnel who attended the scene of the Lockerbie plane crash and who dealt with the aftermath. The idea was to assess reactions, provide support and improve contingency planning. Also included were questions for partners and people close to the person involved. The work was planned and developed by the then Chief Medical Officer De David McLay and Margaret Mitchell. There were several articles and papers written on the results of the survey. There are around 2,000-2,500 questionnaires

Bound volume 'Musci Fifenses; Vol. I': Specimens of the mosses of Fifeshire [Fife] illustrated by notes relative to their distribution over the county by Charles Howie A.B.S. The volume contains a printed introduction and manuscript index to the 112 botanical specimens contained therein and also pencil notes and brief sketches possibly in the hand of Howie, undated [late 19th century].
One time medical student at St. Andrews University and Art Collector, who gave his collection of pictures and art books to Queen's College, Dundee. Reprints of articles, lectures and addresses; correspondence. The deposit consists mainly of a collection of re-prints on a wide variety of scientific subjects c.1894-1945, housed in box files, with author and subject index in separate folder. Some of the reprints originally included some correspondence. This has now been boxed separately with cross reference to the relevant reprint. There are also two boxes of personal testimonials written by Sir Robert Robertson with related correspondence. Item numbers in brackets correspond to original author and subject index number.
