The file contains correspondence between Christine Houston, a visiting speaker, the Vice-Principle of Dundee College of Education and W.A. Illsley, the senior lecturer in Overseas Education. The correspondence relates to the question of Houston's availability and her fee. The intention of Houston's visit is to give the overseas students a tour of sites in Ardestie and Carlungie. The file also contains correspondence between Dr. Illsley and J.H. Thomson, the H.M Inspector of Schools relating to his availability to give the overseas students a talk regarding the work and problems of an inspector.
