Includes transcript of Annie Kirkcaldy's letter to 'James and John' requesting information on church doctrines.
(2) Letter, Lurgan, Ireland, John Williamson to Mrs Julia David and Mrs Doctress Robertson, Perth. Gives general information and news of the Williamson family and requests news of the Perth congregation, 22 July 1783. Includes by John Williamson 'A Dialogue between an Angel and a Lady Angel'

(16) Letter, Perth, James Morison to Mr Alexander Hutton, Dunkeld. Observes that your 'Townspeople are taking the same step which it proposed should be taken throughout the Country', believes that although the opinion in the Church of Perth is that 'as good subjects it becomes us to show all good subjection... but to volunteer in declaration of offers of services etc., we think it is not becoming those who... consider all Commotions and parties as to be avoided...' Understands that these are also the sentiments of friends at Dundee and Edinburgh. Also asks for instructions concerning the binding of a bible, 30 July 1794
