Mr John Petrie of Drumlithie who was committed to prison in Stonehaven in March 1748 for contravening the Act of 1746". This has been corrected by W.L. Christie (1968): "Mr Petrie died long before 1793, this should be Mr Greig of Stonehaven". Additional note: "The sermons were given to the Rev. R.K. Thom by M. Thompson of Auchinblae[?] and by him to me [? Bishop Forbes in 1860].
