Subjects include: use of the field hut [Braedownie] by students and others; erection of a Nissan hut at Braedownie in 1949; a copper cross found at Clova Castle and given to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland; and Forestry Commission plantation in the area of the hut. Also includes: several orders and invoices for goods from local suppliers in Clova, such as gas oil; a Kerosene Record Card from the Ministry of Fuel and Power, for the hut at Braedownie, 1948-1950; leaflets on the Elsan closet and Valour Quick-Boiling Stove; and a leaflet with notes on making an application for planning permission.
