Also includes newspaper cuttings (and copies of cuttings) from the 1970s-1980s about Dundee shipping, and a printout of a 2002 email containing an extract from Sailors in the RAF about the Bridlington Pinnace disaster on 29 September 1969 (which involved a pinnace sailing from Dundee to Bridlington). Also contains a copy of the Dundee Port Authority Conditions for Towage and Other Services (1983).

Also includes a flyer for a Day Conference on Dundee Ships and Shipbuilding: 1814-1984 on 21 October 2006 organised by the Friends of Dundee City Archives, and a list of conference participants. Also contains handwritten notes about the SS Californian and the history of Caledon Shipbuilding, which appear in typed form in various other files in this collection.
