Don Fibres Ltd, was purchased by Don and Low in 1977. It had originally been part of Thiokol USA, an offshoot of the Thiokol Chemical Company which was founded in 1929. Don Fibres was housed in a modern factory, purpose built for the extrusion of polypropylene tapes and yarns, in Newfordpark, Forfar.
