Montrose and Dundee. David Fife, Episcopal Minister at Dundee and James Dundass Episcopal Minister at Montrose to Bishop Smith, one of The Nonjuring Bishops in England. Reaffirms the writer's allegiance to the liturgy of the Church of England and details the circumstances leading up to Bishop Raitt's indictment against Fife. [18th century copy].

David Fife to unidentified addressee [Bishop Smith] states that his congregation has "lately made a very noble stand in Defence of the Religion and Worship of the Church of England" and adds transcript of a pamphlet being a letter, 27 July 1744, from The Presbyters of Edinburgh to [Bishop Keith] and the Bishops of Scotland, outlining events since the death of Bishop Ochterlony and deploring any attempts to introduce new liturgies or ordinals [18th century copy] [See also Br MS DC/82 for transcript of and notes on the above documents by Dean Christie].
